Katherine M. Sauer, Ph.D. (Katie) is no stranger to workday stress. She earned her doctorate in economics in her twenties and spent a decade in higher education as a professor, administrator, and international speaker. In her executive roles at an investment consulting firm and national nonprofit, she had a hectic travel schedule and high-pressure responsibilities. Currently she is the principal at Ardent Acumen, launching her own full-time coaching and consulting practice. Read her professional bio here.

To cope with the demands of professional life, Katie began exploring various work-life wellness disciplines. She discovered yoga and meditation were powerful stress management tools, cured three decades of insomnia, cleaned up her diet, and learned to take good care of herself during work travel while still performing at a high level.

In parallel, she curated frameworks and honed competencies related to personal productivity and email, leadership and management, challenging communications, change leadership, strategy, and coaching.

Katie is proud to be a work-life well-being expert, advocate, and enthusiast.
